Athlone Training Centre
On Thursday 27th of May 2016, we went to Athlone Training Center! It's a big center for students aged from 16 to 90 years old. There are courses (hairdressing, web design, welding, office administration…) and apprenticeships (carpentry & joinery, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, farriery, brick & stonelaying).
We took a breakfast in the canteen, we ate scones and jam with tea or coffee! Aileen explained all the courses and apprenticeships with a slide show.
Later on, we visited all the center and we met some teachers who talk French. After that, we ate lunch in the canteen and it was very good!
Ophélie did her work placement here during 4 weeks!
